Young Krones are an avant-garde theater duo based in Rogers Park, Chicago. For their branding and website, No Replica designed an identity inspired by scrawled manifestos and letter board signage. At the core of this visual system is an original variable font based on the duo’s handwriting that enables a stop-motion “line boil” effect.
