Poetic microsites exploring space, place, and experience

No Replica created a series of web-based experiments exploring how meaning shifts between live events and a recording of said events. Each site features a different subject matter and user experience, focusing on familiar environments like sidewalks and grocery store shelves that are typically considered banal.

The project features a custom variable typeface, Caffeine, which is available via our type foundry Too Much Type. By randomly adjusting the variable axes of this font, the site is able to replicate the scribbles of authentic handwriting.
