Typographic musical sequencer
Fontbox is a digital instrument that pairs kinetic typography paired with a musical sequencer. Visitors type in sequence of characters, which are represented as large letters onscreen. The instrument then proceeds letter-by-letter, playing a sound and adjusting the letter’s characteristics. The instrument’s controls resemble those of a traditional sequencer, allowing the user to change properties such as the font, sound, pitch, tempo, or animation of each letter.
