The site’s design resembles a computer interface. Each time the page loads, random letters are selected and displayed like icons on the desktop. The layout and colors change with every visit.
Fonts are stored in a pop-up menu. Users can download and test fonts, or add additional letters to the desktop. Once letters are added, clicking a letter brings up customization settings.
Clicking the logo reveals shortcuts for quickly adding random letters to the desktop. The “Controls” menu offers options for rearranging these letters.
Type specimens are presented via simulated browser windows. Within these type specimens, users can test out our more experimental fonts.
These windows are fully featured and can be resized, minimized, or rearranged.
