Young Krones is an avant-garde theater duo based in Rogers Park, Chicago. For their branding and website, No Replica designed an identity inspired by scrawled manifestos and letterboard signage. At the core of this visual system is an original variable font based on the duo’s handwriting that leverages code to create a stop-motion “line boil” effect.
