Educational Initiative

Educational platform building fun, free resources for teaching and learning design

Overview

In addition to our studio work, No Replica produces an expansive set of educational resources focusing on topics relating to design and development. We release these resources under the name GD with GD — Graphic Design with Gabriel Drozdov, named after our founder. While GD with GD spans multiple websites, every related project uses the same foundational visual identity, featuring a palette of friendly colors and playful typography.

The GD with GD homepage guides visitors to specific resources based on their learning goals and whether they are a student or an educator. Additionally, we developed a tool that lets users customize a wide variety of parameters to generate branded graphics.

The site uses color and animation to welcome visitors and invite them in.
GD with GD spans numerous projects. Visitors navigate through an index of all related websites, which are organized by subject matter. Hovering over a link brings up a live preview of the associated website.
To produce branded graphics, we developed a “GD with GD Generator” that lets anyone easily create their own images or animations in the style of GD with GD.
We maintain consistent branding across all GD with GD projects by using a cohesive color palette and typographic hierarchy. This system lets us experiment with the identity of each individual project by introducing one new aesthetic element on top of the visual identity’s foundation.

Say hi! We’re always open to new projects, ideas, and collaborations.
